I'm having some problems with the HP solution center for Officejet 5610 All-in-one. As it is really time-consuming to uninstall-reinstall the software on my comp, I'd really appreciate if it's possible to troubleshoot the problem without doing so.
History of problem:
I've installed HP solution center via AIO_CDB_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_140_408.exe sometime around July 2013. OS then was windows 8 (NOT RT), touchscreen.
OS was updated to windows 8.1 sometime end 2013.
A few days ago when I attached my comptuer to the printer, a window flashed as solution center was opened. However, it went away too quick for me to read the contents and I just assumed the problem was resolved.
Today as I tried to scan an image when using touchscreen, I realised the crop tool in solution center wasn't responding to my numerical inputs on the dimensions.
I've checked for updates via solution center and there was none.
So now I'm wondering if it's because I've had the wrong software installed? Or do I need a patch or something? Or any other way to resolve this issue/determine what's wrong?
Thanks.
PS: I'm pretty rookie WRT IT, so patience is greatly appreciated.
