Using a new disc for Windows 7 the installation starts OK but fails quite quickly with the error
" installer cannot access this registry Key
H KEY-LOCAL-MACHINE\SYSTEM
Manufacturer Microsoft"
I have been through inumerable websites and forums to no effect. Anyone got an answer?
In REGEDIT there is no entry under - - -MACHINE\SYTEM for Manufaturer
