Good folks at HP PLEASE help me. I used my HP Officejet 7500A for my work for printing on 11"x17" paper for years and it was a GREAT machine. I used it so much that I finally wore it out after THOUSANDS of printed pages. So I had to replace it and chose the Officejet 7610, which I like because the scanner is the full 11"x17" wide format size. But there is a problem!
The Windows 8.1 (64 bit) Driver doesn't recognize the full size 11"x17" paper as an option for printing. There are typically two options for printing to this paper size in the pull-downs. Either 11"x17" Paper or Tabloid Paper (they are one in the same). I have had tech. support on the phone twice and chatted once to no avail. They always think I have a hardware or software problem and run through the same series of tests without solving the problem - only wasting A LOT of ink and paper in the process. So again, please FIX MY DRIVER so I can use this printer for what I bought it for - WIDE FORMAT PRINTING on FULL SIZE 11"x17" PAPER! Thanks for your help ahead of time here!
