Hi! When my Windows 7 PC (ThinkPad) has been idle for say 1 h, then the HP6525 printer does NOT respond, when I start to use the PC again.
Solution so far: Pull out the electric cord and then put it back. This restarts the HP printer.
Note: It should be possible to do this by using the electric switch on the HP6525. However it does not work in this case (by pressing this button in several different ways I do not achieve anything. My purpose was to switch of the printer in this way, and then switch it on again).
I have the latest HP drivers for Windows 7. The printer is really new (2 days old).
The Drivers came from the DVD that came with the Printer + later reinstalled from the HP6525 site.
Note: I use a USB cable, not WiFi.
The PC is a Lenovo ThinkPad E540 20C6 FullHD
