All,
I have a Laserjet 8000dn printer. I have two items I need help with
- We are at the point that the onboard web-page has to old of a Java for the current browsers
(I have tried chrome and IE 10.0, along with Safari on the Mac and both Crome and Firefox on
a Linux RHEL 6 system) When I go out to the support page, I see drivers, but no firmware...
Does anyone know if there are any firmiware updates to this printer? - When I recived the printer, the password for telnet and the web-page were lost I can use the web-page
to see some stuff. I see that you can reset with a cold-reset. But the instructions say to pull out the
Jet-Direct card before doing the cold-restart. Seems to me that is where you want to do a cold reset.
Any ideas or proceddures on how to reset the passwords?
This has been a very reliable printer and I would hope the Hewlett Packard would continue keep updating
the software~firmware for a little longer..
