7520 installed on Dell desktop, Win 7, 64 bit--AND on Compaq laptop Win 7, 32 bit.
Both computers run the printer flawlessly on a wireless network--BUT:
The 64 bit program enables me to access HP Printer Assistant which is very handy (like a Printer Toolbox). Photosmart 7520 Properties list SIZE 14.2 KB, Size On Disk 40 KB, CONTAINS 10 files, 0 folders.
The 32 bit program does not allow me to access Printer Assistant. Photosmart 7520 Properties list SIZE 11.9 KB, SIZE ON DISK 36.0, CONTAINS 9 files, 0 folders.
32 bit package is smaller (missing Printer Assistant??) than 64 bit Win 7.
