INSTALLING A NEW COMPUTER - EXISTING HP PRINTER
I recently installed a new computer, replacing an old, Windows XP computer that was connected to my HP-Officejet Pro 8600. Previously, I had a control screen on the XP descktop that allowed me to select pritinging, scannig, faxing, etc. I could also control the setup for each of these fucntions.
With the new Windows 7 desktop, I downloaded the original software and got a much different screen that is more like a print manager but it does not let me to print, scan, or fax as far as I can tell? How do I get my screen back? or where is it?
The tabs on this window are:
Control Panel, Hardware and Sond, Devices and Printers, HP Officejet Pro 8600 (Network).
The Control Panel options are: System Secturity, Network and Internet, Hardware and Sound, Programs, User Accoutns and Family Safety, Appearance and Personalization, Clock, Language, and Region, Ease of Access.
These are all Windows contol functions in my opinion, not HP printer funtions.....?
