OJ 6500 E709n & OJ 6500+ E710n-z have been on my home network for a few years. For no apparent reason, E709n, while it still prints fine from multiple Win7 PCs from say Word, the HP Solution Software will no longer work so cannot scan.
Error message says "device installation not complete." Of course, device is visible under installed printers and it does print OK. Says "plug in USB cable or re-run installation setup." I have tried both repeatedly.
Did have some WiFi issues upon re-installation. Setup would not see printer on network even if I manually put in the correct IP address for the printer. Had to use USB cable to finish setup (never needed to do that before). Even while hooked to USB, Solution Software still won't work.
If I enter IP into web browser, everything appears normal under the network info. Thanks.
