Hi,
I bought my printer HP deskjet 3545 Ink advantage few months ago. Until recently it was working well, but since last few days, I am unable to copy and scan. I can print from my computer (using wifi and via USB). Following are my settings and problems:
- Printer is successfully connected via my wifi
- I can print from my computer.
- I cannot scan and copy
- When I try scanning from my computer, it gives me " Scanner Unreachable: Scanner communication cannot be established. Ensure your product is powered on....".As suggested in the error message, I ran HP Print and Scan doctor. While fixing the scanning issues, in the "Driver Check" it gave me error " Driver Error: This tool was unable to resolve the problem,even after a restart. Go to HP Customer Care for help in resolving this issue".
- There is no probelm with scan to computer, as SCAN TO COMPUTER IS ENABLED.
- I tried using USB connection too, but I am unable to scan my documents. I can only print the documents.
- When copying, i press "Copy" option, then it asks me, "black or color" along with some other options, then i say "black". When finally i press button to "start copy", there is no action taken by printer. It just does nothing. All the options remains there and nothing happens.
- I have reinstalled everything using the HP printer CD and nothing is resolved.
- There are no issues with the inks level. The diagnostic tools can show there is less than half (but not empty) the color and black inks.
- There was once a paper jam, which was removed as per the instructions given. After the paper jam, there were many print outs taken.
Could you please provide some help?
