Driver Installation Problems - CP2020 LaserJet

After the printer spooling process kept giving me error messages, I attempted to download and install a new printer driver for my CP2020.  During the installation, I'm prompted to select the printer -- I tried both options, having the installation locate the printer and also typing in the the Host Name.  Neither method works.  I can't get the driver installation to locate the printer.

 

I've started/stopped the printer spooler, shut down and restarted the computer, checked all the cables between my printer and computer.  The printer shows up in the list of installed printers, but doesn't indicate that it's ready.

 

Any suggestions?

How to know what is contained in F/W updates

It wants to update the firware. Before I do, I'd like to know what it's updating - is there a list?

 

Also, after this, I need to clear up the banding while printing 8x10 Glossy's.

printing the fax delivery report on the receipt wrong the hour and minutes and I do not know how to rectify it, I would gladly accept your suggestion by e-mail, the instructions both written and on the web do not mention it.

I had to buy a new MacBook because my old one wouldn't run much any more, and, I had already replaced two hard drives and the optical drive, and the hard drive failed again.

I bought a MacBook Air with OS 10.12.6.  Unfortunately, there is no printer driver that works with my Photosmart 7150.  Now, I find, HP doesn't support this printer any more!  Mine still works just fine, and is a great printer.

Does any one know how to get a driver for this printer?

I have a MAC which I could print from just fine until we bought and tried to connect a PC (HP Spectre w/Windows 10). Now both computers print sporadically or not at all. Have no idea how to get this fixed. tried to uninstall the printer from my mac and reinstall it again.

Can't use print property on HP LJ 300-400 color M351

When I try to print anything, and try to change something in print properties, I receive this message:

 

"Function address 0x34f3b596 caused a protection fault.  (exception code  0xc0000005)

 

Some or all property pages may not be displayed"

 

I can print the page if I do not select Printer Properties.  I am trying to print on heavy card stock and need to select that in Printer Properties.  Can you help with this problem?

Automatic Duplex Printing

Unable to Print on both sides of the paper automatically. The Printer does not automatically take the sheet of paper back to print on the other side (no Auto-rotating).

Tried going into Printer Settings/ Preferences and chosing print on both sides, also tried on File/ Print..../Both sides/ rotate on short edge etc. but no joy.

Any help will be appreciated.

Printer will now only print in monocrome

Hi , my printer will now only prin n monocrome. there are no options any where in my laptop to change to colour. when trying to print sewing patterns tha i have purchased and downloaded, it automatically reverts back to momcrome. I have read bits and bobs about "drivers" but i have absolutely no idea what this means. I also do not have the disk that came with printer anymore. Please can someone help and give me easy instruction to rectify this?

Toolbox

I had to rebuild my system. After repeated times of installing and uninstalling the software, I can't get the Toolbox to run and can't fine the exe program anywhere on the drive.  Everything worked on my old drive before failure.

Printer doesn't work after Windows 10 Creator Update

Since some of the Windows update, I can't print anything. It was working properly before the update.  Have uninstalled / reinstalled latest drivers from the HP website - no success.

 

Tried the hp Print and Scan Doctor, Step 2 Test Print doesn't work, but the Internal Test Print does.

 

Tried searching and tried many solutions on the internet and still no luck. 

 

The Scan function works well. Just the print function doesn't. It also shows 0 document pending on the spool.

 

Tried the solution mentioned on this thread: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Software-and-Drivers/Printer-doesn-t-work-after-windows-10-creator-update/td-p/6285800 , still doesn't help.

 

The printer itself is fine. Using other computer on the wired network and it can print normally. Just this main computer stop printing. Please note that this computer still can print from other hp printer connected to it (Deskjet 2020).

 

Tried connect the M127fn with USB cable to this computer, still doesn't work as well.

 

I have been fixing this problem for several hours in the past few days. Please help.

 

Anyone got any ideas? Please help me sort this out.

Missing lines is my problem. I try to use HP Instant Printing but when I print to it from a PDF file it comes out with lines missing.

 

I have Windows 10 and use Autocad. What can I do?
