I have been trying to print something for hours and keep getting this message: wait until the printer finishes before you push in the output tray extender. The message appears without ever printing out my document and then my document disappears from the print queue.
I have read other forums that suggested taking out the power cord and doing a hard reset, updating the firmware, etc etc. I've tried all the suggestions and nothing has worked. Seems like this has been a problem for years based on how far back the forums go. Does anyone actually have a real fix to this problem by now?

HP Office-Jet 8730 installation problem
Good Morning
since I relocated my HP OfficeJet 8730 Pro (Model Number : D9L20A, Service ID:29132) it is impossible to re-install the Printer with the original Software.
I'm now using the Series 8600 Drivers to be able to print from the Operating System(MS Office 365, Adobe, Text Files, etc...).
I tried several posted "Solutions" on the Net, but none worked !!!
Since I use this Printer for Business as well, its imperative to solve this Problem !!!!

Officejet 4500 installation failure on Windows 10
This failed installation was for a Wi-Fi connected printer. The installation worked with a USB connected printer configuration, but failed when configuring the remote printer configuration. The printer was previously set up and working for other PCs, but during this failed remote setup, it removed the printer connection to the router, so other PCs can no longer use the printer.
This phase ran for 15 to 20 minutes before failing.
Oddly, the installation program thinks it is installing on a Windows 8 computer. It is actually Windows 10. Windows 8 has never been used!
Once the install fails, it removes all software including destroying the printer’s connection to the router!
The troubleshooter added no value in determining the problem.
The installer (uninstaller) reboots the computer without asking, so everything that was open was lost!
On the 10th try to install the printer, we set it up as a USB-only configuration that went to completion. We then added the Wi-Fi function that seems to have completed without uninstalling everything, but when trying to run the "HP Solution Center", we get the message that the installation is incomplete. We can print, but cannot scan initiated from the PC. When initiating a scan from the printer, the Windows 7 laptop is in the "destination" list, but not the Windows 10 PC. The Windows 10 PC used to work properly, but scanning stated failing in ~September, 2019, so we downloaded the current printer driver and attempted to reinstall the printer.
We then ran the HP Print and Scan Doctor. No help there. My old Windows 7 laptop installed the printer and works fine, but no luck with Windows 10. All Windows updates were applied and we're using the latest printer driver.

Deskjet 4535 print on both sides manually
I reformatted my laptop a day ago. I tried to connect to my existing printer and it was giving me a headache all day long. It keeps showing "Print of both sides manually" even though it could print automatically. I checked the printing properties and I found that the automatic duplex unit keeps changing back to "Not installed". Then when I tried to print on both sides manually, the printer doesn't allow me to do so. It prints all the documents single sided.

software installation
I would like to thank all those who have given me advice on getting my printer connected to my computer. I have tried all as advised but was unable to get it working. There is a Windows update 'HP-Enterprise WSD Multi-Function Printer-HP Deskjet 3700 (USB)'. This update fails to install. I have to assume my computer will not accept this printer, so will give up trying to connect it. It is a shame that an installation cd is not included. I wonder how many other people have had the same problem.

My wireless HP Deskjet2542 Printer is not reading the router. But, is connected to the internet.
the wireless, is a solid blue light is on the printer.
The computer is hard wire to the router. I connected the printer to the computer ran the programs
But, the router is not finding the printer through this method.

Scammers on hp page?
On the hp123 page a window popped up with a guy who said he was from hp service telling me that he needed to acces my pc. there he went to services and saw a lot of stopped things an told me he needed to install some files on my computer, he also viewed my ipconfig. This looked suspicious so I hang up on him, was he legit? Or not? I did no let hin install nothing on my pc other than the hp setup from hp page. But he did see my ip and all that wich I find weird.

HP Envy 5030 stopped printing in colour
Hi,
I have just found that my iMac has stopped allowing the choice of printing in colour and black. Only allowing black printing.
I have ran Print Quality Diagnostics and it does print in colour which made me think it was maybe a printer driver issue.
I have tried to reinstall the drivers and HP easy install but it's asking me to allow SWHelper. I have read some posts on this forum and I am aware that this isn't an HP issue and the last poster was advised to contact Apple. That post was over a month ago and this problem is still occurring.
Is there a solution to allow my Mac, which until three days ago, printed and scanned with no issues, to actually print correctly.
I have subscribed to your Instant Ink service but that's pretty useless if I'm unable to print the pages I need.

OfficeJet Pro 9015 Duplexing Unit "Not Installed firmware or drivers glitch
Hello! OfficeJet Pro 9015 disabling duplexing unit 3 -4 times per week in printer setting (Windows 10 Pro, 64bit). Switching "Duplexing Unit" to "Installed" in the printer properties works for several prints, then it turning to "Not Installed" by itself again. Very frustrating, when printing multiple pages document, and printer unexpectedly asking to reload the half of the printed pages back to the printer to print the second side. This printer has hard to reach paper tray, specifically in the limited office desk space. Updating firmware, reinstalling the drivers do not work. Simply, immature product: the drivers have very annoying glitch.

Printer not responding
Dialogue box message: Your computer is correctly configured but the device (printer) is not responding.
- Won't print from laptop - says printer ready (only have one printer) - printer does initial start up but then doesn't print.
- Won't let me copy a document on the flatbed - says not authorised to! This is my printer! at home
All was working fine and then suddenly in the middle of one day, after having printed earlier on that day refused to print from then on No one else has access to this printer.
I had printer installed on another laptop at home and new laptop used app and printer had been working fine for 13 months. Now not working as above.
Have since installed driver on new laptop but printer is still not responding. Dialogue box message is today's message.
Any advice will be very gratefully received 🙂

Installation of update failed on my OfficeJet 5740 with Windows 10
I tried the steps below after uninstalling my drivers to correct a problem with printing to my HP OJ 5745. (when printing, the computer tries to save a .prn file) This is only a problem with my laptop, it prints perfectly from my iphone on the same network.
I have tried three or four times to install drivers, and failed. The pinter is now connected via ethernet cable - which was not necessary before it stopped working.
When I try to follow the steps above, i get an error message stating that the printer is in use. Deleted failed print jobs from queue, ran task manager, ended all tasks. Not sure what to do here... been at this more than an hour

Cannot connect to the web interface on the HP M477 from some computers on the network.
Cannot connect to the web interface on the HP M477 from some computers on the network. I have 6 computers in an office and 4 can connect to the M477 web interface and the other 2 cannot connect. I can ping the printer from all 6 computers and all 6 computers can connect to the printer and print. The scanner software will not connect to the printer on the 2 computers. One of the two affected computers was just freshly reloaded, the other computer was loaded a two years ago. I have verified the following:
- All computers have Windows 10 Pro installed
- All computers can ping the printer with a command prompt
- All computers can install and print to the printer
- All computers are on the same IP subnet as the router and printer
- All computers, printer and router have the same subnet mask
- All IP addresses are with the range set by the router (1-200)
- One of the computers is an administrator machine with full admin rights
- I have rebooted the router, access point and printer
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

On HP P 1102w support page
I can only find the drivers and not the firmware upfate file LJP1100_P1560_P1600_FW_Upgrade_20180302.exe
There's a wrong link to drivers instead of firmware updater.
The MAC OS X link is working to LJP1100_P1560_P1600_FW_Upgrade-20180302_signed.dmg, but the Windows isn't.
So please send me a download link to file LJP1100_P1560_P1600_FW_Upgrade_20180302.exe
