I'm setting up a new HP PC. My old HP PC had a "shortcut" on my desktop that took me to the scan function on my HP Envy 5000 printer. I cannot figure out how to get that same "shortcut" on my new PC. Anyone know what I'm trying to talk about and what I can do?

Each time I try to add the printer to a mac computer, it does not show up, when I add it by the ip address and choose the correct drivers, I get an error that says “ Some of the software for the printer is missing. You may have to reinstall the software to be able to successfully print. “ Then I cannot access any of the utilities and when I try to print, I get an error message that the software for the printer is missing and to contact HP

Even though Duplex Unit is installed in my HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4303fdw Printer, but it is not detected when the configuration is set to Auto Detection of Duplex Unit. With Auto Detection enabled, the printer does not print on both sides automatically. However if the configuration is set to Duplex Unit "Installed", only then the printer print on both sides of the page automatically.
This is a bug or defect. Please advise on how to enable automatic both side printing even with "Auto Detection" enabled for Duplex Unit, without having to configure Duplex Unit "Installed".

I have updated the printer driver via HP smart and checked the correct Paper size in Excel and gone through the whole process iwith the Virtual Assistant but it still does not print properly. This is the last HP printer I will buy as there is no adquate support. (It prints A4 ok in word).

How to hold all prints? For now, what I did is go to each users and set on their laptops > hp printer > printing preferences > job storage > stored jobs.
I want to set on admin where I can hold all prints so that users will go directly on the printer and print their jobs.

When trying to install my officejet pro 9010 software with the downloaded Easystart software, the installation keeps going back to " Get your printer connected to the network" page.
-Printer found, choose a connection method. (wired network/wireless or usb) all three can be selected with the same end result
- Connect printer using wi-Fi or Ethernet (both option lead to the same result)
- Plug in ethernet cable (done)
Then it goes back to page " printer found, choose connection".....
No installation starts..... It keeps going in this loop

Hey, Please can you help. I am the least technical person on the planet and my printer stopped working. I uninstalled it to tried setting up again and now my Mac can't find it when I search on HP Smart. I've tried updating driver but HP site isn't working for me to download an update, if this is even what I need to do?? I've tried adding the IP address but that isn't working either. Do I just need a new printer? The printer itself is connected to wifi and I've tried setting wifi up again too but it's still not linking to my Mac.

We have a hp latex 700w, the printer driver has disappeared and now we can’t download a new driver from hp site as they don’t have one for windows 11 which is really strange as we haven’t changed the pc?
I’ve been using this printer a lot, but it’s been less than a year since I bought it. Today, ink was smudged all over the paper, and after researching, most of them says it might be due to low ink. However, the ink levels still show as full, so it seems the printer might not allow ink changes until the ink level is very low. When I cleaned the drum, it was limited in cleaning; even after cleaning, the prints are still very dirty.
I had same problem before the previous printer, this is second time. I’m starting to wonder if this printer is always problem same thing and if it’s designed to encourage buying a new one within a year rather than maintaining or refilling the ink.
Do you know anyone who can fix or maintain a printer with dirty prints where ink is smudged all over the paper? Also customer center doesn't help because they don't recognize my serial number and didn't move forward. So sad for the service...

I just purchased HP Officejet 9125e. In trying to set it up, I get the error code UU_400_EB000A9900 on my computer. I initially tried setting it up on my Android through the app but kept getting error messages there too ("We're sorry, something went wrong.") Although the test page printed, it won't complete the setup and tells me in the app "Some features unavailable." I don't know how to proceed from here to finish setup.
I have a HP envy 6052e printer and want to change the name on the HP Smart app to it's location to avoid confusion. I have done this on an HP printer in another room (different model) but I cannot locate any place on the app when I select this printer to change the name or rename printer. Please help.
