My 2011 Imac just had a new hard drive professionally installed. The computer appears to be working fine, however the printer will only print out a small portion of a photo or document (around 1/2 - 3 inches - depends). There is a long pause before printing begins and its very, very slow. Additionally the printer is automatically paused. I've deleted the printer / reinstalled / restarted computer multiple times and nothing works. The printer worked fine before the hard drive installation. The printer is plugged in to the wall - no extensions. Ideas??

Wireless printer doesn't work at all / Error - printing - restarting
Just bought a new laserjet printer with wireless capability. Installation was a bit lenghty but went without errors. Tried to print a page wirelessly, nothing. Tried to do a test print wirelessly, nothing printed. Tried printing an email and a spreadsheet wirelessly, nothing. I reset the printer, still not printing wirelessly. I uninstalled everything (drivers, software) and did a clean install. Still no printing wirelessly. Connected via USB, and it prints, so the issue is mainly with the wireless connectivity. It appears something (an internal process maybe) freezes the printer and you can't do anything to unfreeze except to turn it off and then back on. Sometimes when I open the printer spool on Windows, it shows this error: Error - printing - restarting. Some other times it justs says "Error printing".
I have checked my router to see if the printer's IP is recognized, it's there. Also thought the MAC address might be blocked in the router, nope. Checked if file and printer sharing was not selected, box was ticked so it was available. This is quite a mistery.
I've run HP Print Doctor several times and everytime it says it fixed all problems (Recommended Updates intalled, Print Queue issue fixed, port match fixed, print spooler fixed). Tried to do print a test page, and gives me an error. Tried printing an internal test page, nothing. At this point, I have waisted 7 to 8 hours of my time and problem persists.
Did a firmware upgrade (recommended by HP Print Doctor). Same result.
I think this printer is going back to the store as wireless printing software is pure garbage in my opinion. I have reset the printer at least 8 times, and nothing has changed. It simply wont print wirelessly. Tried printing from my ipad. At first it shows the printer. I select the pages to print and then an error saying printer cant be found. Really???
I consider myself a computer savvy but this printer issue is so frustrating. I've tried 3 different installation approaches: Using CD that came along with the printer, using windows 10 to recognize and install the printer and using HP All in One software to install the printer. The results were all disappointing.
Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated.

Suddenly able to print all but envelope addresses
E-mails, word products all print as expected. However, when trying to print a Word envelope, the enverlope feed through but is blank with no address on it.

My Modem was updated and now the computer won't work
I am trying to update my SSID along with the password (which technically did not change) but it appears that it wants me to update the router information in my wireless 4620 printer but cannot figure out the way to key in the information using the 'telephone' style keypad and cannot find ANYTHING on the internet on how to get this keypad to work in anyway shape or form. Is this the way to get the printer to work again with the new modem even though I did not actually change my SSID/password? Thanks for any assistance on both accounts!

Won't print but did last week
It worked fine last week when I had Charter (Spectrum). Now I have AT&T. Everytime I try to print on my DeskJet840C it just blinks on the third one from the top.
The top one is the power button
the next is the one you hit to feed the paper into
and the third one is the one that blinks if you are out of ink. I have ink!
Maybe its a driver or something. I have even pulled out the cord in the back of the printer for 45 sec. I have also restarted the computer twice. How do I put a driver on?
As soon as I hit print....it starts blinking.

Trouble connecting a C4780 wirelessly
I cannot connect my C4780 printer wirelessly.
I have tried using WPS but the printer just comes back WPS error (the WPS button on the router has worked well with other devices just not the printer).
I have also tried to set it up using the printer utility on my MAC. I have followed the instructions given here https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04825413 but do not get the wireless setup option appearing on the utility.
Can you help?

Product No. CN731A Unable to print in colour
Hi,
My HP Photosmart Wireless Printer D110a (Product No. CN731A) is not printing in colour despite new colour and black ink catridges. I am currently using a Windows 10 with 64 bit operating system. I have installed the drivers that was suggested on HP's site and the printer is still experiencing the same problem. It also will not copy in colour. I did a clean printer head test and a page was printed showing six coloured blocks on the page.
Please provide some assistance as I have already spent close to 100 US on new ink and I need to use my printer for a project that involves the use of coloured print.

Printer newly installed - Printercable is not getting recognised
I have a new hp Elitebook, after installing the Printer Deskjet 1050 - the cable is not getting recognised. Message: 'cable malfunction'.
But the cable and printer is perfectly working with my Dell. So cable is fine.
Any other suggestion? This is really important. My Dell is getting old and i need to work now with the HP laptop only.

Printer scanner capabilities
I need to be able to scan immages (under 8 by 10 in) and reduce and or enlarge, and also reverce the immage for printing on transfer paper. I have an hp 3050 unit. I also have a Gateway desk top operating on windows 8, 64 bit. Is there software I can download into the computer that will allow me to do this.
If not, what coppyer/ scanner will work for what I need. Most items to be scanned are hand drawn black and white, although a few are in color. All my printing needs are low volumn scaning, and printing. I need good detailed, high resolution copies. What equipment and/or software do I need.

OfficeJet Pro 8730 continuously crashing after accepting update
I tapped the printer screen to install an update. Now any time the printer restarts, it says 'downloading 100%' then the wifi light blinks and the printer system crashes, leaving all lights flashing simultaneously. The error message reads: "ASSERT: 0x0112e9aa code image: sox file: rfs_drv.c line: 274". I have tried a full reset, flash, audit options and it always returns to the same problem. I have tried putting the printer right beside the wifi router, and connecting directly via USB, ethernet. When I connect the printer directly to my PC via USB, Windows recognises that a device has been plugged in but drops the device when the printer crashes. I cannot get the printer into a stable/ready state and therefore cannot apply a firmware update. Is there any way to do a physical hard reset of the printer, or a way to reverse the update that is causing repeated crashing? The printer is literally only three months old and it has been rendered completely unuseable.

CP3525 printing too slow
For some reason my printer takes far to long to print jobs. I just printed 5 excell pages and each page probably took 5 to 10 minutes before they would start printing. Once scarted they print quickly, but it takes forever for each job to start.
Any help would be appreciated!

6978 automatic two-sided printing
I just purchased an OfficeJet Pro 6978. Supposedly it has "automatic two-sided printing". The User's Guide says that for this I must "On the Printing Shortcut tab, select a shortcut which supports the Print On Both Sides setting.". The trouble is that none of the predefined ones do, and I don't know how to create one which does.
This admittedly isn't the biggest reason I bought this printer, but the capability was something I was looking forward to. Can someone please clue me in on why it doesn't seem to be available?
The box under "Print on Both Sides:" says "None", and won't let me change it.

reset admin password on hp 3632
I just setup my new printer, have not set any passwords for anything. I am trying to setup the EWS and everything is locked, I need a login and password. I have tried the Admin and left the password blank, nothing, i have tried everything, but nothing is working.
How do I reset the password? NO the wifi button and the red X for 3 seconds does not work either!
