Almost every time I have restarted my Vista PC and switch on the All-in-One HP PSC2355P the system jumps into its "New Hardware detected" mode, installs the drivers and creates a new instance of the printer.
The new instances are called (Copy 1), (Copy 2), (Copy 3) etc.
Only the most recent instance works, but of course all my applications, such as Word, Adobe etc have an earlier instance set as default, print jobs get queued for a old instance, which is offline.
Every so often I use Control Panel to delete the old instances, but the cycle continues.
Any suggestions as to why this happens or what can be doen to prevent it?
