No error message shows up but software listed above fails every time to actually download. It first tried to update 6-6 and has continued to not complete the download. Printer works fine so what do I do instead of continuing to download it at times.

I Need a Replacement Battery
Hi, I need a new replacement battery for my HP Pavilion Notebook laptop, 15-au185sa. It's only keeping at 52% charge and after a test it says I need to get a new battery but I can't find the exact one for my model. Can anybody help? A link to Amazon UK would be useful or Ebay.

can not install HP smart
After I access 123.HP.com, followed the step to download the app, when I click Free download. I have an error msg " 0x8007139f" I tried to scan the computer with issues. It detected none. I tried again to download, still same error message

CD TRAY OPENS RANDOMLY
Hello,
I have an HP stationary computer. My DVD tray keeps openning and closing by itself. I noticed it happens every time I start working and the computer gets out of sleeping mode, but also on other occasions, more frequently when I'm working on the computer.
I checked for viruses\maleware and nothing was detected. I started the computer on safe mode and the tray kept going crazy.
Is there anything I can do to try and fix it by myself?

Driver question
Hi there long story short I bought the HP Officejet 6950 for my works computer they only install the driver for a 6960 and i cant change the driver due to work only supporting this model - 'SHOULD' the 6950 work with the 6960 driver as i cant send the unit back as the kids used it!? I say should as there seems to be an issue with the driver which i may have to get sorted through work as i dont have authority to do it myself?

No Deskjet 6980 driver in Windows 10 even though it is on HCL
The HP Deskjet 6980 is on HP's list of Windows 10 compatible printers here:

This document says that the printer has a driver via Windows Update.
No such driver loads. I have followed all of the various troubleshooting steps as far as updating drivers, installing the printer ,and running the print and scan doctor. No driver appears. Printer works fine and is discoverable on Windows 7 with no issues. Scan Doctor sees the printer but tells me to use Windows Update to get a driver.
I understand that this is an older printer but it *IS* on HP's Windows 10 compatible printer list!

PS in the interim, I have configured it as a Deskjet 6600 and it is printing but having some format issues. Is 6600 the best choice or is there another printer that would be closer?

5275 Wireless Connection to router
Hi,
I just bought a Deskjet 5275 and it says connected wirelessy to router, however the ip address says "Updating". I unplugged the router and printer, and it didn't help. I ran the HP Doctor and it couldn't figure it out. Neither could the virtual agent. I tried to give it a static IP but the number sequence on the printer's lcd display is 000.000 whereas my ip address is 10.100...….

HP ENVY 4520 Driver is unavailable
I saw the post about how to fix the issue where Windows 10 was not recognizing the driver. The solution was to change the folder names to 3.old in the w32x86 and x64 folders. I was able to change it in the W32.. folder but not the 64 folder. So, what now?

Error 0xe006d7363 - Printer Preferences
When I try and change the Printer Preferences I get the following error:
"Function address 0x00007FF9D845A839 caused a protection fault.
(exception code 0xe06d7363)
The application property sheet page(s) may not function properly."
I have uninstalled the printer and all associated sofetware, restarted, then reinstalled everything, and same issue.
Also, printer will not print in color, however, the printer will copy in color.
Any insight or suggestions on how to resolve is appreciated!

How to reset my HP Deskjet 2546B
My mom set up our DeskJet 2546B at our old house. Since then we have moved, got a different wifi provider and purchased new laptops. However we cannot comment them to our printer wirelessly because we have forgotten our old Network Security Key. IS there a way i can reset my Network security key for my printer? Or if possible is there a way i can factory reset my printer?

My office jet pro 8610 won't print. Error message says printer is not connected
