I have the HP Photosmart 2610 printer and would like to connect it to my router so that different laptops and PC's can print off of it. However, I have connected the printer to my router and it is not showing up in my network. What am I doing wrong?
All drivers are updated, and even via Control Panel, Devices and Printers, it doesn't show up.

My printer scanner will only scan to pdf's. PDFs are not user firendly at all. Adobe wants a $120 annual subscription to be able to edit these things. I wish my scanner would output jpgs, pngs or tiff s as these are the native format of photos. Whoever thought of encrypting them into a proprietary 3rd party format. I hate locked pdfs as I really don't want to pay Adobe $2,000 (over 20 yrs) to be able to edit these things.
There are all sorts of programs for editing jpgs, tiffs and pngs. PDFs are a locked proprietary format. How do I get rid of this problem?

I have tried every recommend trouble shouting remedy described on the support site.
If the question is not obvious by reading the symptoms, it is, "How do I send a fax from my computer?"
Symptoms:
From printer, send fax to fax test number. Result: fax was sent back acknowledging success.
uninstall drivers and software.
reboot computer,
install software,
reboot the computer
open HP Envy 7640 software by double clicking on icon
click on [fax] tab
Click on [Send a fax] ... eventually "Send Fax - HP ENVY 7640 series (Netowrk)" dialog box appears.
click on [To ...]
drop down dialog box with [Fax Contacts and select [Fax Phonebook]
check box [ ] 1 FAXBACK SERVICE 18884732963
Click on [Done]
click on the (+) of the Add Cover Page icon (clicking any where else is fruitless)
Enter "test" in Subject field
click on [Done] (now the [Add Cover Page] Icon looks like a cover page icon with an (X) in the upper right corner)
Click on [Send Fax]
A gas gauge bar appears briefly

(no dialing sounds from printer, all is quiet)
wait longer ...

Oh yeah, another frustration: opening the the HP ENVY 7640 series (Network) Toolbox [Device Information] tab
yields a box entitled "Serial Number" When trying to contact support (but you can't actually contact support) the serial number is requested. This serial number is not accepted. one must remove (in my case) the last four characters.

I have had the same problem for a while now, my printer keeps saying 'service station stalled' every time I turn it on. When I touch OK to start the automatic recovery progress, this keeps popping up... I have tried everything that was on the website, there are no jams, but it looks like the cartridges stop a little bit too far to the left than where it normally should be... Can anyone help me? I've already turned the printer in for repair, but I still have the same problem...
I have an HP Officejet 7310 All In One printer which is about 12 years old. It gets very light use, probably around 25-30 pages per month. It has worked fine until I recently replaced my PC with a new HP Envy TE01 using Windows 10 connected by USB cable. I loaded the latest software and driver per HP instructions but there has been a variety of printing failures. When a print command is given, the printer runs without stopping and prints portions of each page. When the troubleshoot option of the printer setup program is opened there is a message which says the printer needs to be connected to a computer with HP software which it already is. How can I communicate with this printer?
Cannot print double sided. First time I tried, the option was there but now it says I can only do it manually. Or if I restart Word and "Select Print on Both Sides", once it starts to print it gives me instructions on how to manually print it.
I also get an error whilst trying to access "Preferences" via the Windows Settings or through Word. If I click "Properties in Word", it sends the error and crashes the program so I have to close it through task manager.

Finally, when accessing the printer properties (see image) and click on "Device settings" it says "Automatic Duplex printing not installed" and I cannot another option.

I tried resetting my printer, but it is still going offline so that I have to turn it off in between print jobs.
My printer was working properly, but when it recently needed a paper refill, the 'printhead error' message appears. There was a recent HP update, which even changed the look of the print instruction screen on my computer. I have tried the shut down, lift, eject, etc. three times as recommended. Not working. What can be done, please?

le soucis est que l imprimante que je viens d'acheter n'est pas compatible avec la version que j'ai .
Donc ma question est de soir si il y a un autre moen d'installer mon imprimante avec d'autre pilotes ...

new 7858 printer, was able to setup successfully to print via my iPhone or iPad but printer will not communicate with my laptop, can anyone point me in the right direction?
My internet provider rebooted my router this morning, and as a result my printer - which worked just fine - no longer is connected to my desktop computer so I can't print anything. The cable/internet people had no interest in helping me solve this, passing the buck here. Seems like a pretty straightforward issue. I already have tried unplugging the router, the modem, the printer, and the desktop computer, and waited a couple of minutes before turning each back on, to no avail.
I checked online and this cartridge should work fine with my printer. The problem is that the printer was purchased in Argentina, and the cartridges are from the US.
How can this be solved? HP website contains the incorrect information.

Just installed the above printer. It is connected wirelessly or at least the printer says it is. Tried to print and got an error message that only says 'error', no explanation. Uninstalled printer and reinstalled but now PC can;'t discover-find printer.
My printer quit scanning and duplex (both sides of page) printing after MAC OS 10.15 Catalina upgrade. Unable to find solution and attempts to delete and redownload HP Print drivers were unsuccessful.
HP web says they are aware of a problem but haven't found a solution that I can make work.
Anyone with a solution would be helpful for this old retired guy.
