Black ink shows >60% in ink level display, but when printing out diagnostics, black ink is empty. When attempting to print out a document, black ink doesn't print. Thre is a scattering of gray letters and numbers, but this is likely from the color cartridge. I tried replacing the cartridge, turning it off, then on after 30 seconds, unplugging it and re-plugging after 30 seconds, aligning cartridges (which showed "fail"), cleaning cartridges--all this didn't work. Please help

Whether I try to install with the CD or download from HP.com, I keep getting this error message:

I am not sure what is going on but I can no longer use my printer or any of its functions.

using printer with photo paper that has magnetic back
I have an HP 6510. The project that I am trying to do suggests using a copier that has a rear feed or a bypass feed should be used. I cannot fing a rear feed slot. Is there a rear feed or bypass feed?

Printer NOT showing up in "ADD PRINTER"
Hi,
I am installing the software for HP Officejet Pro 8610. I am at the section where I must create a print queue. I followed the instructions and clicked the "Add Printer" button. It says a dialog will appear listing available printers on my local network.
Well the box came up and there is nothing in it. It says in the instructions that "It may take a few moments for your printer to appear in the list." However, I have waited for a VERY long time and nothing is coming up.
Any suggestions?

HP All in one printer cannot scan after upgrading to WIN7
SINCE UPGRADING TO wIN7...PRINTER COPIES, BUT i CANNOT SCAN OR POSSIBLY FAX (HAVEN'T TRIED THE LATTER YET).
PRINTER MONITOR SAYS TO CHECK PLUGS, ETC. BUT ALSO MENTIONS OCR SOFTWARE NOT INSTALLED???
I DOWNLOADED WHAT I THOUGHT WAS THE LATEST LINK FROM ONLINE (SOFTWARE AND DRIVERS). IT DOWNLOADED BUT COULD NOT INSTALL. CHECKING CONTROL PANEL I CANT EVEN UNINSTALL THE HP PRINTING PROGRAMS IN ORDER TO REINSTALL THE NEW LINK.
CAN SOMEONE ASSIST ME?

Uninstalled the printer driver and now cannot download it from the website!!
The error message "The printer is offline" showed up one day all of a sudden
I tried to download the Scan and Print Doctor driver as the help forum suggested, it never downloaded ;
The download (or Install) window showed up with percentage bar,
but the percentage stays at 0% for 10 mins.
I figured something was wrong with the Scan Doctor
I decided to take other solution; uninstall the current printer driver in my computer (HP Laptop "Pavillion", Windows8).
I unistalled it and then tried to download the same driver from the HP website.
Same thing happened as the Scan and Print Doctor driver;
same window, "downloading 0 %" forever.
Now I am totally at a loss. What wrong did I do? How can I make my printer run again or how can I know what is wrong??

HP Deskjet 3054 driver; Mac OS X 10.9
My printer used to be recognized wirelessly; then I upgraded to Mavericks (10.9), and lost wireless recognition. In trying to re-establish a wireless connection, I uninstalled the driver on my Mac. Now I have no driver at all, and cannot find one to install via your website. Please help.

Can't download full software
Hello,
I inadverdantly deleted my HP software (instead of uninstalling it) and now I can't print at work on the 2605 dtn or at home on my C4280. When I try to add a printer I get an error saying that some of the software for the printer is missing and it's available from Apple. It gives me the option to download and install and when i do that i get the error "the software for the printer was installed incorrectly. Please reinstall the software from the manufacturer." I don't have the install disks for either home or work printer and am looking for a link online but the HP site doesn't offer it.
I'm working on OSX 10.10
Looking forward to hopefully getting some help here.

printer will not install
hp officejet 4500 desktop 510a. Was installed on hp computer windows xp with no problems.
My new hp computer is windows 7. I have uninstalled and tried installing a few times. I also tried installing from hp website. I get the same error everytime . no usb driver. I had the computer search for updates no driver updates where found.
Any help would be great.

Won't print e mails
My HP Photosmart Prem C410 suddenly started not printing e mails or web pages. I have to copy and paste the information to Word and then print. HELP. It has never done this before. All other printing, scanning, copying features are working properly.

Software and Driver Installation for HP Officejet 7310 Crash on my new laptop running Windows 8.1
I am trying to load the software and drivers for my hp Officejet 7310 on my brand new Lenovo laptop which runs windows 8.1. I had successfully loaded the software last week. Unfortunately I lost the disk drive on my 2 week old computer. The store gave me another brand new Lenovo laptop. On the new laptop I get errors when I try to load what I think is the same software that I loaded on the other computer a week ago. I downloaded the software from the hp website.
The driver software download fine. Originally it then unzipped and a nice interface came up. I think I clicked the load button. A message box came up saying that it could not find a certain file in appData\local\temp\7xxx... I tried the download and install several more times. I think I then did windows updates and registered my version of office. I was thinking that with the other computer I must have had the computer in a different state such that the drivers and software installed without a hitch.
Things seem to have gotten worse. I do not get as far. It still downloads fine but now after unzipping rather than the nice interface with the "load" button I get the a message box.
The latest error is in a message box with the heading "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library". The error says that Program:c:\users\...\appData\local\temp\7zS4237\setup.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
I was able to connect the printer through the "add Printers" and am not actually too worried about having the whole "HP Solution" with the scanning interface. I am worried that this error will cause me problems in the future with other things. Thanks in advance for any help.
I saw similar issuesdiscussed on the web and have tried several things. I really do not want to reload the OS and start again. We have barely used the system and I have no idea how this problem occurred and so I would not know how to prevent it from happening again. I did stop and start the print service. I was tempted to "totally unload the hp print drivers" but the file names in the posted instructions did not exactly match my files. Another post mentioned making sure that I had the latest version of Adobe Flash Player loaded. I went to the adobe site and it said that it is part of windows 8.1's internet explorer. I ran the test and it seemed to work.
Could the HP installation failure have corrupted my version of Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library?

Printing Photos
I have two of the same printers in different locations, I am unable to print photos from either device. The error message given is "The photo tray is blocked. Please adjust the tray and try again".
I have rebooted 10 times, removed the tray and looked for blockage 10 times, nothing works. I can print documents but no photos. There is nothing about printing photos in the literature that accompanies the devices. Please help. Thanks.

Lost the set up disc and trying to find the set up install driver on line. The only choice is the 7520 all in one series, which is not the same printer. Will the 7520 driver install get me everything I need for the 7525 printer?

3050 All in one buttons stuck
My 3050 all in one printer buttons aren't working - the screen is frozen and the OK button won't put it back to the regular screen. I tried unpluggin for 60 seconds and pluggin it back into the wall.

After trying all solutions re device and software installation on this forum I have not been able to resolve the issue. However I believe I have narrowed down the problem and require expert advice on how to proceed.
Taking a step back, all I want to do is to be able to SCAN MULTIPLE PAGES, perform OCR (Optional) publish/print to PDF. Given I have uninstalled (Inc using the Uninstall_L4.bat) and re-installed several times, this is either because the installer is not configured correctly for Windows 7 Home Sp1 OR the HP Solution Softward is searching for the wrong identifier - i.e. "CUE_Device_ID" instead of just "DeviceID".

- Troubleshooting performed:
- I installed basic-only software/driver, then Dital Imaging Monitor and HP Solution Centre.
- I received the "HP Solution Centre Cannot Run because your device installation is not complete" error.
- I uninstalled all HP Software and re-installed FULL software from support site for this model (same error).
- I browsed the forums, ran the uninstall l4 bat and re-installed using USB-Cable mode, but this also resulted in the same error when opening HP Solution Centre.
- I Ran HP Print and Scan Doctor and this gave me the pointer that something was still wrong in the registry "A problem was found with device registration" (see attached).
- I came accross the HPDiagnosticCoreUI_PSdrServer.log file and saw the specific registry path issue, and that it was not fixed by the tool, but do not know how to proceed.
- Connection Method: Initially wireless but also tried USB.
