I just purchased ink for this printer (hp envy 7120) because I couldn’t find the ones it came with and it wants me to use the setup ink. Is there a way to bypass this?

HELP - HP Laserjet 1536dnf MFP stopped working
Hi - I have had an HP Laserjet 1536dnf MFP printer for over 10 years. It's perfect for me. I started getting a warning sign after the last Mac upgrade (two ago now) - something about it ruining my computer and malware, but I would click through 3 times and it would print. A couple days ago it just stopped printing. The document goes into the print queue gets about halfway there and then just stops.
I have rebooted my system; I have uninstalled and tried to reinstall my software - and that's where I'm blowing my stack. My CD that came with the printer doesn't work anymore - as in, I connect it to my computer and the printer and it just won't install. I then spent 2 days online trying to download the printer software - I get to the HP site it sends me in circles and then to download HP Smart and HP East Start - and ALL it does is KEEP LOOPING. I try to download software and it keeps looping me back to download HP Smart - I've downloaded the darn thing at least 6 times. How do I download the printer software - and more importantly - how do I get my printer to start printing again???
HELP! This printer is perfect for me and was working perfectly; I do not believe in waste; I have tons of printer cartridges - so I do not want to get another printer - I want it to start working again.

Mac thinks it's working, but no paper appears
I just bought the printer, and have connected it via USB cable to my iMac Retina 4K (Late2015) running MacOS Big Sur 11.3.1.
Everything seems to work fine on my Mac, but nothing happens on the printer.
What happens?
The printer installs on my Mac as a HP LaserJet M14-M17.
When I print, the document appears in the Print Queue. It appears to send the document to the printer. It says:
Printing - Connected to the printer...
Waiting for the job to complete...
Then the job disapperas from the queue. I would expect paper to appear from the printer at this point, but nothing happens.
In the Print Queue app, I open the menu Printer and choose Print Test Page.
The same thing happens. Everything seems to be working on the Mac, but nothing happens on the printer.
In the Print Queue app, I open menu Window and choose Show Completed Jobs. All the jobs I sen appears here. They are all listed as Completed.
In the Print Queue app, I open the menu Printer and choose Supply Levels. That seems to work. The levels are full, just like I would expect from a new printer.
In the Print Queue app, in the Printer menu, the Error Log menu item is disabled. Probably because it hasn't logged any errors.
Not a hardware problem
I have tried connecting the printer to a Windows computer using the same USB cable. That works. When I print a document, printed paper appears immediately from the printer. I have also used the same USB cable to print from my Mac using another printer. That works.
I have tried sharing the printer from the Windows computer to my Mac. The Mac finds the Windows computer, and it finds the shared printer. It appears to be installed properly. Printed documents appear and disappear in the queue. But no paper appears from the printer.
Also, there are no blinking lights on the printer. Only the green light that indicates that the power is on.
Tried the reset
On the Mac, in the System Preferences, I have opened Printers & Scanners.
I have tried right clicking on the printer and selected Reset Printing System. It deleted all printers, and I have tried reinstalling after that. Still I get the same results.
Help!
Is there a firmware updgrade for the printer? I have tried everything I can think of.
Need to bypass setup cartridges for my HP Deskjet 3070A after Factory Reset
Black ink stopped working, following some blog post, i have perform a factory reset. Now, stuck with the message "SETUP cartridge". Please help, printer was fully functional until failing with black ink, using HP cartridge.

Error code 0XB9808BF4 on Office jet 3833 printer
- It started with error 0xB3A00000 which stuck the printer. I tried to unplug and plug back in, and I got a 0XB9808BF4
- I followed the advice I found here on the forum for error code 0XB9808BF4 but for a 3831 printer, which basically suggested to remove the cartridges, unplug and plug back, and insert the cartridges again, but the error is still there.
- Any advice what else I can do?

HP OfficeJet 250 Print Queue on other computer
I have installed the OfficeJet 250 printer on my laptop on 24 Dec 2019. I noted that my other computer on the same network also have this printer under the Devices and Printers panel. I have no idea why it is there (as shown below) since I never installed it on this computer.
Impossible to completely deinstall HP Printer
I deinstalled «Fax - HP Officejet Pro 8600» from my computer.
It is no longer visible in my Windows control panel > «Printers & Scanners».
But when I use the «Print» dialogue of any software the printer «Fax - HP Officejet Pro 8600» ist still there.
Searching the registry, there are dozens of search results «Fax - HP Officejet Pro 8600».
Some of them can be deleted, some of them can not.
Deletion has no effect at all, the «Print» dialogue sill is displaying «Fax - HP Officejet Pro 8600».
What a nuisance.

HP Smart runs in a circle
HP Smart works on a laptop connected to the WiFi network. HP Smart does not work on the Lenovo PC connected to the network. HP Smart successfully loads, "sees" the HP OJ printer. When clicking on InstaInk, Scan, Document, or any other icon on the main page, HP Smart asks for a sign-in, goes to HP Connected to get the User Name and Pin, and then rotates back to the main page. This happens over and over. I installed the old HP scan software and use that as a work-around. Since HP scan works from the laptop, I uninstalled all HP-related drivers, programs, data, etc from the PC, did a clean-up and virus check, and re-installed the HP OJ. HP Smart still works in a circle. Ideas?

I never requested for a firmware update since I bought this printer from Dec 2019. I have no idea whether my printer is upgrade the firmware itself without my notice.

I recently had to have a new hard drive installed on my laptop and now need to re-install my HP Envy 4501 printer. I cannot find my paperwork that came with the printer. I am trying to re-install but when I asked support for help I am told that the HP Envy 4501 is not a valid printer. I really need help getting this printer back on line.

Bonjour, je suis en train d'essayer d'utiliser ma nouvelle imprimante Deskjet 3700. Elle imprime, mais lorsque je veux numériser un doc, elle m'annonce que le papier est mal mis. C'est à n'y rien comprendre. Je cherche donc à vérifier les paramêtres pour éventuellement les modifier, et là, impossible : tout est "verrouillé par l'administrateur". Or, c'est moi et je ne sais comment j'ai verrouillé tout ça. Il m'est demandé un mot de passe "qui a été donné à l'imprimante". Je n'en ai pas donné, alors qui l'a donné.... et où puis-je le trouver ? Bref, c'est la première fois que je galère pour configurer une imprimante. Il faut dire que c'est aussi ma première configuration non filaire... Qui pourrait me sortir de cet embarras?

- I have an HP chromebook laptop and a HP officejet pro 7740 Printer. I have a file that has a combination of letter and legal size paper and im trying to find the option to auto select the paper that it detects but it only has the option to select one type, has anyone using same products been able to achieve a successful auto select print job using a combined file having letter and legal paper? Im a loan signing agent and all docs are combined , please help! Thanks !!
Set up not finishing
I have a brand new DeskJet 4130. It is working correctly but when I open the Smart Ap (from Windows desk top) it says I need to finish set up. When I try, it is asking me to install ink and close the door, all of which I have done. The ap will not let me proceed from here, all I can do is exit set up. If I look at supplies status it shows 2 full cartridges so the ap can detect ink is there.
Smart ap also installed on my android phone which shows set up is completed.
As I can use all the printer functions, this is not a major problem but it is irritating.
7100 Envy printer
All off a sudden, I cannot scan from my computer!
Do I need a driver update for my printer to talk to my Mac running Big Sur 11.3.1. please?
It is showing connected to Wi-Fi Direct whereas it was connected to my home Wi-Fi before; has it defaulted to a different wifi with the Big Sur upgrade and how do I change it back to my home network please?
