Stuck booting

Hi, I have tried unplugging for hours and cannot get out of the HP Energy Star Logo on the touch screen.

I need to reset the NVRAM.  Can someone please help 


Deskjet 2700 - app installed, shows print preview but the button to actually print remains shaded

Hi there,

I have bought the Deskjet 2700 all on one series. I have set up the hardware and got it connected up to wifi. I have downloaded the app and got this talking to wifi and done a test print.

I have a document I want to print. I send it to the app. It appears in the print preview section but I cannot move forward and print. There is a button on the screen to push that says “print” but this remains shaded and cannot be clicked on.  It is driving me mad and I cannot work out how to fix it. I have had other wireless printers and have had no issues. Anyone got any ideas?

We recently purchase a number of laserjet m404dn/dw models. We have had two issues with these printers:

  1. The setup for the WSD driver is causing erratic issues with our ERP software being able to find the printer
    1. fixed by setting to an ip address or virtual usb port.
  2.  The current firmware MOGAMIXXXN002.1916A.00 bugs out the printer when sending bulk pages to be printed out. Prints out garbled text and blank pages.
    1. Older firmware it function fine. We have an older m404dn with MOGAMIXXXN002.2002B.00 that can print out multiple pages without any issues.

This is the conclusion we have  from testing, resetting, and reinstalling drivers. We are at our wits end with these printers and looking for a firmware downgrade option or a firmware fix if possible. We haven't ruled out a driver issue, as we are not programmers just IT people. We be grateful for any other possible solutions that are suggested. Thanks.

I'm trying to do a partial reset of my printer after encountering the Printer Failure error.  After checking and cleaning the print head contacts, I was able to get the printer to the support menu, then select the partial reset option.  When I power the printer, I'm queried for the date and time and duplexer, but it then asks for the Setup ink cartridges, which I don't have anymore.  If I try to skip through this, I just get the Printer Failure error again.  I am using some generic ink cartridges right now.  They are recognized by the printer, but clearly aren't the original setup cartridges.  What options do I have to finish the factory reset when I can't get past this error message?

I was running some tests on my MacBook Air and noticed that I was getting a lot of dropped packets when pinging things.  I also was getting slightly slower speed tests (240/10 instead of 390/11).    I booted into Safe Mode and this issue went away, so I knew it was something running that was causing the problem.

 

After quitting a variety of applications, I finally found the problem app is HPPSDrMonitor, which is part of HP Smart (version 12.7.1).   I don't know why this is running all the time in the background, but it is causing network issues.  If I boot up my laptop and stop the process, the packet loss and speed issues go away.

Please fix this.

EWS admin password reset HP color laser 150nw

I have the exact same problem as obviously several users in the past.

I entered a custom complex password for the admin account of my HP color laser 150nw, saved the password my password tool but afterwards are told, the password is incorrect.

As stated in that thread, there seems to be printer specific ways to reset it, which seems very, very weird - but please tell me to reset the printer as I'd like to change WiFi settings and am unable to do so.

Hello,

I have tried reaching out to HP call center with no luck, something to do with which geo has to support the case. I see that several others have faced the same problem, & there is a solution available but needs to be applied on a per-device basis. 

While I was a resident of the US, I had purchased a HP OfficeJet 5258 which uses HP63/HP63XL cartridged in the US. I moved to India a few weeks ago and have run out of ink. 

Per HP Printers - Which Cartridges Work with My HP Printer? | HP® Customer Support, it says that a HP803 cartridge in India is compatible with a HP63 in the US. However when I installed the HP 803 (which I purchased from HP.com) onto my printer, it says incompatible cartridge. 

Searching this forum, it looks like re-regionalization has to be performed. Can someone from HP support please help?

Hello! My printer (HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2020hc) recently has stopped printing on my Mac OS Catalina, probably due to the constant updates of the latter.  It shows "error". Is there any solution to this problem except buying a new printer? Thank you.

HP Drivers only work with intel chips they do not work with the new M1 chip

On a side note HP Smart is an Intel only app.  It should be Universal.

 

I found the log files for PSDrMonitor and they are full of errors going back to the oldest log record on May 25.  It looks like PSDrMonitor is hammering the network looking for the printer, even though HP Smart can see it when I open the app:

Hi I want to share  had 2130 hp not printing on my mac catalina.

 

download the driver 5.1 from apple website.

 

when you ad the printer in preference select in use software and from the list select the HP DeskJet 1110 model.

 

hope it will help. It made me sweat.
