Cannot scan to from front panel on HP Officejet 4500 Wireless

I have read all the posts and unistalled and reinstalled the software. I have opened the solution center and tried to update the scan to section, but still nothing. Since then I have downloaded the scan and print doctor and it says everything is fine, then I was told it didn't install correctly and to download the remover (scrubber) however; now when I attemt to use it, it tells me that it cannot be completed becase of an unknown .bat file extension.

 

I also tried to go in and manually erase the "uli-cc-uninstall l4" from the temp folder and nothing is working. Can someone offer me some help? 

 

I'm running Windows 7 64bit.

hp Solutions Center Not Working

hp Solutions Center for my hp All-In-One series 5610 not working; have uninstalled and reinstalled printer and software from cd, but I no longer have the Desktop Icon nor is it listed in All Programs.

 

I installed a newer version of this software with another hp All-In-One printer and everything seemed to work until I tried to scan and I noticed that I could scan, but not save with the newer software, so I uninstalled it and all remaining hp software and re-installed the one for the 5610 from my cd, but I can't find the Solutions Center program anywhere.

 

In my initial installation - back in 2007 - I just had to load a document into the printer and the software would automatically start.

 

I hope someone can provide an answer to what has happened.

Running XP Pro (I know, don't go there) with all service packs and updates.

My PC is a Dell 4800 with 4 GB ram - don't think that matters, but.......

DJ 1512 - Won't Install on Win Pro XP 64-Bit

I have Windowx XP Pro 64-Bit and the software from HP.com for XP and Vista-64 Bit will not install.  Both reply with Operating System is not supported.  Is there no other solution as I would have thought the XP version would still install ?

Status Message won't go away

I have a status message that keeps popping up that states, "Your HP device has sent a status message. This message could not be saved because the following file cannot be found: "/Users/Shared/Hewlett-PAckard/HP Event Store/HPEventStore.hpstore"." Then it offers me "Create" or "Try Again", but neither option does anything, it just keeps reappearing. I can't create this file and the pop up won't go away. How do I make this stop popping up or create this file??

printer functions

I have an shortcut icon which lookes like the printer and was identified with the printer name (HPOFFICEJET 6500E710N-2), when I clicked the icon I was taken to a page which gave me many printer functions, e.g. ink, print quality, scanner,etc.. I updated my operatiing system from windows 8 to windows 8.1. The problem is that now when I click on the same icon it does not take me to the page I want to go to but to "printer setup & software" and I can not find the previous page I was trying to get to. HELP!!! Help me find the old page and icon to get there, please. RONRONSR

HP Officejet 6500 driver for use as WIA-Scanner

Hello,

 

im using the HP Officejet 6500.

I want to use it with the Morena Java API.

I establish an access to the device and it is succeding.

But as type of device I get WIACamera and what I need is Scanner or WIAScanner.

Is there a driver which provides this type of device?

Supress pop-up "Your installation is not complete" HP OfficeJet Pro 8600

I'm using DPInst.exe to install the basic drivers for an HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 as we do not need all the other functionalities of the printer.  I'm able to successfully install the drivers but when I plug in the USB cable into the computer for the first time, I get a pop-up that says "Your installation is not complete" and to insert the CD that came with the printer.

 

I then have to click OK and I will never see that message again unless I delete the printer from the printer list and plug the USB in again.

 

Is there a way to suppress this pop-up window so end users don't get it when we deploy remotely.  It appears to be using the file hpinkins5912.exe to generate the pop-up but I can't figure out how to disable this.  If I rename the file, the printer does not get added to the printer list when the printer is plugged in.

 

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Which inf file to use for HP LaserJet Pro 200 color m251nw, when updating the driver?

My printer is LaserJet Pro 200 color Printer M251nw. I visited the support page and found there is a newer driver.

 

Driver (61.117.01.15301)

 

Currently my driver version is 61.117.1.11493. I want to upgrade the driver.

 

After downloading and unzipping the files into the folder, I found there are 3 inf files in the folder:

 

  • hpcm251u.inf
  • hpcm251c.inf
  • hpbuio70l.inf

 

So which one should I install? I am disappointed at the lack of information and inconvenience in upgrading the driver.

HP 5610 ALLINONE - WIA FILE DRIVER REQUIRED

Hi

My HP 5610 worked fine for many years. On the 13th April 2014 I updated Windows 7 and then my nightmare started. The HP does not scan or print. It shows it needs a WIA driver. I tried to uninstall printer but it only uninstalled partially. Now it does not want to reinstall again. I tried HP scan doctor but it gives the following error message "The installer cannot access this registry key. Please ensure that the installer has access to the registry and click Retry.

Registry Key : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM. 

I tried help from microsoft - nothing

I tried registry scan - nothing

I tred installing other printers - nothing

 

PLEASE HELP !

I have a HP Envy 4500 e-all-in-one series printer.  Can the format be changed to produce a 640x480 .JPG copy?

I am tring to work with a company that requires a JPG format.  I have never heard of that before.

HP ENVY TouchSmart & HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-one-Printer

My HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-one-Printer has been installed & uninstalled twice.  It is presently uninstalled.  When you first install & print test is prints from my HP ENVY TouchSmart w/Windows 8.1.  After the initial installation is tells me its offline.  I have this same printer installed on an older laptop running Windows 7 & it prints perfectly every time.  I run a test result paper on my printer and it tells me there are NO PROBLEMS found.  So, it has to be my laptop.

 

I have looked at every help page I can and have tried everything it says will fix it included the HP Doctor and nothing works.

 

I ask our tech guy at work and he is also puzzled.  I am no where near a tech so I would really appreciate your assistance.

cd printing not working C309a

I Upgraded my system to Win 8.1 from 7 Premium & downloaded all the new drivers & photosmart essentials, but now when I try to "print to CD/DVD" from solutions centre photosmart essentials opens like before but no option showing to print to CD. When I go to the "create" option it doesn't list print CD either. Have tried opening essentials direct & again no print to CD option showing.

 

This was working fine 2 days ago before the upgrade, so what update or software part is now missing?

HP Photosmart 3310, HP Solution Centre

Hi to all, 

 

I have had this printer for some time and its a bloody good printer,

For some reason the hp solution centre just won't open, i have tried various options in these forums but to no avail, if there is anyone that could sort this out for me i would gladly appreciate it. :)

 

I am running windows 7 with plenty of ram and hardrive space, when i click on the solution centre a box comes up saying that it can't open because your device intallation  is not complete. the printer does work but i can't scan my photo negatives without it. please help..

 

PS i have tried uninstalling all the software and re-installing it, also installing one bit at a time and iv'e tried the flash update in windows explorer, still didn't open.

HP Print & Scan doc. show phantom printer so can't install on new subnet

Attempting to install officejet 6700 on network with .1 subnet.  Installation software says it cannot connect to print.  No print shows in my control panel (printers & Devices) uninstalled all hp software and started from scratch.  Still won't install. The print & scan doctore show two prints at 192.168.0.100 (installed) and 192.168.1.2 (Not installed) running on .1 subnet and want to install .1 printer.  How can I remove whatever is causing the .0 phatom print from showing up.  In my device manager I have about 20 HP 6700 under other devices and I disabled all of these still no luck

I have F4500 printer it was working fine my computer crash i had a theck look at it he dead some work on it and change some of my setting i dont know what he did. but now my printer wont scan anymore wen i tried to scan it brings up a small window that says.Parsing eror in files c:\Program files (86)\hp\digital imaging\bin\hpqscoc\1033.xml i need help to see if someone could tell me what i need to do

This procedure is much too complicated for an average user. You know that millions of Wondow XP users are switching to Windows 7. I' sure that most of them are facing similar problems. HP should come with a user friendly solution that solves the above issues. Don't you think?

My problem remains unsolved.

Driver Version of Photosmart 7520

How can I find out my driver version of my Photosmart 7520 printer? I'm planning to upgrade my computer to Mac 10.8. I am now running Snow Leopard 10.6.8. I don't know if I have to upgrad the driver or not.
